Irish Icers Get Set To Start The 2008-09 Campaign

So what does Notre Dame do for an encore in 2008-09? The Irish set the bar very high over the last two seasons, starting in 2006-07 when they won their first CCHA regular-season and tournament title while going 32-7-3. They followed that by coming out of the pack in 2007-08, making it to the NCAA Tournament as the last at-large team and proceeded to go all the way to the national championship game against Boston College.
