Authorities confirmed Sunday that two University of Notre Dame football players were among 37 students arrested earlier in the day on charges that include underage drinking.
The arrests of players Mike Golic Jr., Will Yeatman and the other students occurred after a home on Colfax Avenue on the city's near east side was surrounded by police cars early Sunday.
Officials said the vast majority of those arrested were from Notre Dame, including some soccer and lacrosse players.
Yeatman was previously suspended from the Notre Dame football and lacrosse teams in February 2008 after a DUI arrest. Golic, Jr. is the son of former Notre Dame player Mike Golic, the ESPN Radio Host and star of Mike and Mike in the morning.
